Two pedestrians were killed in separate road accidents on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Dogachi and Khanbari areas of Srinagar upazila in Munshiganj.
The identities of the victims could not be immediately confirmed.
One of the deceased was hit by an ambulance in the Dogachi area around 7:45pm on Saturday.
Another victim was struck and killed by a motorcycle around 7:30pm the same day.
Upon receiving the information, firefighters recovered the bodies, said Delwar Azad Hossain, station officer of the Srinagar Fire Service Station. He added that the ambulance has been seized.
