Two Bangladesh Army soldiers were killed and an officer was seriously injured in an accident during a field firing exercise at the Hathazari upazila Field Firing Range in Chattogram on Wednesday.
The incident occurred when shellfire was discharged from a tank during the training exercise, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The injured officer is being airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for advanced treatment.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the accident, ISPR said.
