Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has said that the BTRC has instructed telecom operators to provide 1GB of free internet to their subscribers on July 18 to commemorate the July Uprising.
As part of the government’s initiative to mark the occasion, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has directed operators to offer 1GB of free internet on July 18, he wrote in a post shared on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday, reports BSS.
