The 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rupali Investment Limited, a subsidiary of state-owned Rupali Bank PLC, was held on Wednesday (15 July 2026) at the boardroom of the company’s head office in Motijheel, Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by Kazi Md Wahidul Islam, Managing Director of Rupali Bank PLC and Chairman of Rupali Investment Limited.
Among those present were Hasan Tanvir, Deputy Managing Director of Rupali Bank PLC and Director of Rupali Investment Limited; Farida Yasmin, Director of Rupali Investment Limited and Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division; independent director AKM Shariat Ullah FCA, ACCA; independent director Professor Dr Shafik Uz Zaman; and independent director Nasrin Sultana.
During the meeting, Rupali Bank PLC General Manager and Rupali Investment Limited Chief Executive Officer Md Fakhrul Hasan presented a detailed overview of the company’s annual report for 2025, audited financial statements and overall operations.
After reviewing various agenda items, shareholders approved the necessary resolutions unanimously.
The AGM was moderated by Rupali Investment Limited Company Secretary Mostafa Sazzadul Haque, ACCA.
