The CBS sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ gave viewers memorable characters and comedy gold, but nearly a decade after it ended, fans are curious where the cast members have landed.
Charlie Sheen, the original Charlie Harper, left the show in 2011 amid public clashes with executive producer Chuck Lorre and struggles with addiction. Since then, Sheen has appeared on ‘Anger Management’, ‘The Goldbergs’ and films including ‘Scary Movie 5’, ‘Machete Kills’ and ‘9/11’.
In 2023, he made a cameo as himself on Lorre’s Max series ‘Bookies’. Sheen, who revealed he is HIV-positive in 2015, has been sober since 2017 and shares five children with ex-wives Brooke Mueller and Denise Richards, as well as a daughter from a previous relationship.
Jon Cryer, who played Alan Harper throughout all 12 seasons, has continued acting in series such as ‘Supergirl’, ‘Extended Family’, ‘Mom’ and ‘NCIS’.
Cryer released a memoir in 2015 and remains on good terms professionally with Sheen, despite their personal distance. He shares two children with his wife Lisa Joyner and ex-wife Sarah Trigger.
Angus T. Jones, who starred as Jake Harper, left the show in 2013 to pursue a religious path, though he returned for the series finale. He later attended the University of Colorado Boulder and dabbled in media ventures. Jones continues to live a private life, occasionally sharing his music on social media.
Ashton Kutcher joined the cast in season nine as billionaire Walden Schmidt. The actor has appeared in films such as ‘Vengeance’ and ‘Your Place or Mine’ and continues his work as a venture capitalist with investments in companies like Airbnb and Uber.
He is married to his ‘That ’70s Show’ co-star Mila Kunis, with whom he shares two children.
Supporting cast members have also found success. Conchata Ferrell, who played housekeeper Berta, passed away in 2020 but left a lasting legacy through her work on ‘Grace and Frankie’ and ‘The Ranch’.
Marin Hinkle, Roseanne’s ex-wife Judith, appeared in ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ and other television series.
Melanie Lynskey, who played next-door neighbour Rose, has starred in ‘Yellowjackets’, ‘Mrs. America’ and films like ‘Sadie’, and is married with one child.
Amber Tamblyn, who joined in later seasons as Charlie’s daughter Jenny, has continued acting and directing. Holland Taylor, portraying matriarch Evelyn Harper, has appeared in ‘The Morning Show’ and ‘The Chair’ and is in a long-term relationship with Sarah Paulson.
