Music will take centre stage in Dhaka this evening as Independence and National Day is marked with a large-scale public concert at Manik Mia Avenue, headlined by legendary rock band Warfaze.
The programme, arranged with support from the Inter-Services Public Relations, is set to begin at 7:30 pm and will bring together military and contemporary sounds in a single showcase. The Armed Forces Orchestra is scheduled to open the evening before Warfaze takes the stage.
The open-air event invites the public to commemorate the day through a blend of music and national spirit, turning the capital into a shared cultural space for celebration.
Warfaze’s presence adds further significance to the evening, coming shortly after the band became the first in Bangladesh to be honoured with the Ekushey Padak, reinforcing its enduring influence on the country’s rock music landscape.
