Smartphone brand Vivo Bangladesh sponsored Northern University Bangladesh’s three-day ‘NUB Club Fest 2026’, which drew over 5,000 students to the Dhaka campus from 2 to 4 August.
The festival featured mobile photography workshops, photo walks, competitions, debate contests, PUBG and e-Football tournaments, a ramp show, flash mob performances and cultural programmes, said a press release on Saturday.
Participants explored Vivo’s latest smartphones at the vivo Smartphone Experience Zone and enjoyed instant photo printing at a dedicated Photo Zone.
NUB Vice-Chancellor Mizanur Rahman said extracurricular activities play a vital role in developing students’ personal and professional skills.
“Vivo Bangladesh’s involvement in initiatives like this creates valuable opportunities and enriching experiences for our students,” he said.
NUB Film and Photography Club, with the Literature and Cultural Club and Debate and Public Speaking Club as co-organisers hosted the event. The Textile Club, Games and Sports Club, and Business Entrepreneurship and Leadership Club joined as partners.
The event concluded with an award ceremony, where winners received gifts, T-shirts, certificates and special recognition from vivo Bangladesh.
