The 30th US Trade Show 2026, jointly organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) and the US Embassy in Dhaka, ran from 5 to 7 November at the InterContinental Dhaka.
It brought together policymakers, business leaders, industry representatives and visitors to explore commercial opportunities and potential partnerships.
The accompanying seminars addressed women’s leadership, energy security, healthcare and medical technology, investment opportunities in the United States, reciprocal trade, and the information and communications technology and digital economy sectors.
The discussions highlighted the need for a favourable investment climate, greater private-sector participation, technological innovation and closer cooperation between the two countries to support long-term economic growth.

AmCham Bangladesh President Syed Mohammad Kamal said the event had connected American businesses with the Bangladeshi market for three decades and continued to demonstrate opportunities for cooperation across sectors.
He said AmCham would work with the government, the US Embassy and the business community to promote investment, facilitate partnerships and support Bangladesh’s long-term economic development.
The closing ceremony was attended by Trishita Maula, acting deputy chief of mission at the US Embassy in Dhaka, alongside business leaders, representatives of participating companies and former AmCham presidents Aftab Ul Islam, Syed Ershad Ahmed and Md Nurul Islam.
