The exhibition was part of the three-day US Trade Show, jointly organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh and the US Embassy in Bangladesh to mark 30 years of promoting commercial ties between the two countries.

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad attended the inauguration ceremony, where he highlighted the importance of technology, innovation and strategic partnerships in strengthening Bangladesh’s competitiveness in global supply chains.

Avery Dennison also highlighted its investment in local operations, including an 830-square-metre Smart Warehouse at the Dhaka Export Processing Zone in Savar. Launched in September, the facility has seven automated guided vehicles and storage capacity for 25,000 cartons.

According to the company, the warehouse, part of its Manufacturing 4.0 strategy, has increased volume capacity fivefold and processing speed by 72%. Avery Dennison operates three manufacturing facilities in Dhaka and Chattogram.
