UCB Fintech Company Ltd’s mobile financial service upay and foodpanda Bangladesh have entered into a strategic partnership to introduce a digital cash collection solution for foodpanda riders, aiming to make transactions more seamless, secure and convenient across Bangladesh.

The agreement was signed recently at a ceremony held at Golden Tulip The Grandmark Dhaka. Under the partnership, foodpanda riders will use upay’s digital payment platform to facilitate collections, a move the companies said in a press release would help strengthen the country’s growing cashless ecosystem.

The two organisations will work together to develop a rider-centric user journey, enabling foodpanda riders to migrate more easily to upay’s collection solution and encouraging wider adoption of digital transactions.
