The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with THSnet, Inc., Connecticut, USA, in a move aimed at strengthening collaboration between academia and industry last Thursday.
The signing ceremony was held at the ULAB campus, according to a press release.
The MoU was signed by Azim Fahmi, Chairman and CEO of THSnet, Inc., and Prof Dr Muhammad Golam Kibria, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at ULAB.
The partnership seeks to promote collaboration in areas including job and internship opportunities for students, joint capstone projects, collaborative research initiatives, and the development of innovative healthcare technologies.
THSnet was represented at the event by Hiron Rahman, Managing Director. Representing ULAB were Lt Col Md Foyzul Islam (Retd.), Registrar; Raihan Kibria, Senior Lecturer and Md Anowarul Abedin, Senior Lecturer of the Department of CSE.
