A Khulna court on Monday sentenced three people to death for killing a man in Batiaghata upazila in 2018.
Judge Md Khurshid Alam of Khulna Additional District and Sessions Judge Court-4 delivered the verdict.
The convicts are A Salam, son of Kalam Box, and Khurshid Alam, 35, and Khairul Sheikh, 28, sons of Salam Sheikh of Jhalbari village.
According to the prosecution, four people beat Rezaul Sheikh of Jhalbari village to death on 31 March 2018 over previous enmity.
The victim’s younger brother, Mezbah Uddin, filed a case with Batiaghata Police Station against four people on the same day.
Police submitted a charge sheet against the accused on 11 September 2019.
The court acquitted the fourth accused as the allegation against him could not be proved.
