Police have arrested a suspected drug trader on Wednesday night in Manikganj’s Singair during a special operation.
Singair Police Station’s Officer-in-charge (OC) Md Mazharul Islam conducted the raid on the third floor of a three-storey building in Zamsha area.
A tenant named Md Masud, 49, was arrested from a flat in the house. He is a resident of Sadapur area of Nawabganj upazila in Dhaka. Police seized 5,000 yaba tablets from his possession.
OC Mazharul informed that a case under the Narcotics Control Act is being processed against him.
