Shukhee, the digital healthcare platform of Grameen Healthtech Limited, has been named Bangladesh’s Country Winner in the SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being category at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026. The award recognises organisations whose initiatives make measurable and long-term contributions to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To help reduce the healthcare gap between urban and rural Bangladesh, Shukhee launched its Shukhee Gram initiative. The programme delivers affordable and reliable healthcare services to underserved rural communities with limited access to conventional healthcare infrastructure. Guided by Shukhee’s founding vision of “Healthcare for All”, the initiative enables rural residents to access medical consultations, health guidance and community-based support.
Dr Ahmed Arman Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer of Grameen Healthtech Limited, said: “This recognition belongs to every community health worker and every family in rural Bangladesh who has placed their trust in Shukhee Gram. Our goal is to establish quality healthcare as a right, regardless of where people live. A sustainable, community-centred healthcare model is not only possible, but is also making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.”
Shukhee Gram operates as part of Shukhee’s broader digital healthcare network, with a strong focus on community trust and accessibility. Through touchpoints including telehealth services, remote health monitoring devices, health stores and Shukhee Service Centres (SSCs), the platform is bringing healthcare closer to where people live. According to Grameen Healthtech Limited, Shukhee currently serves more than five million customers across Bangladesh.
