Students will be able to watch the Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026 without buying tickets, the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Tuesday.
School and college students will get free entry to the Club House Gallery at Mirpur. To enter, they must wear their school or college uniform. They must also carry a valid ID card from their institution.
The Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026 will take place at the same time as the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh will not play in the World Cup. As a result, the country’s top players will remain active at home.
National stars like Litton Kumar Das and Mustafizur Rahman will feature in the tournament. All matches will be held in Mirpur.
Three teams will compete in the Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026. They are Dhumketu Ekadosh, Durbar Ekadosh, and Duronto Ekadosh. The best players in the country will be divided among these teams.
The total prize money and player fees will be Tk 2.5 crore. Litton Kumar Das will lead Dhumketu Ekadosh. Akbar Ali will captain both Durbar Ekadosh and Duronto Ekadosh.
Mohammad Salahuddin will work as head coach of Dhumketu Ekadosh, with Mohammad Ashraful as assistant coach. Mizanur Rahman Babul will coach Durbar Ekadosh, assisted by Tushar Imran. Hannan Sarkar will be the head coach of Duronto Ekadosh, with Rajin Saleh as assistant.
Group stage matches will be played on February 5, 6, and 7. The final will take place on February 9. All matches will start at 4:00 pm at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Cultural programmes will be held during match intervals.
Spectators other than students will need to buy tickets. Ticket prices are Tk 100 for the East Gallery, Tk 200 for the North and South Galleries, Tk 500 for the Club House, and Tk 1,000 for the Grand Stand.
