Standard Islami Bank PLC celebrated its 27th founding anniversary on 3 June 2026, entering its 28th year of operation, the bank said in a press release. The bank organised a discussion session and Dua programme, moderated by Acting Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman, with heads of all divisions attending physically while branch heads and employees joined online.
Md Siddiqur Rahman said employees should strictly adhere to Shariah principles in banking operations and contribute to the bank’s growth through professionalism and technology-driven services. He emphasised the importance of maintaining ethical standards while leveraging modern banking tools to enhance efficiency and customer service.
The anniversary programme highlighted the bank’s commitment to Shariah-compliant banking and recognised the contributions of its employees in achieving sustainable growth over 27 years.
