Southeast Bank PLC has relocated its Motijheel Branch (Islamic Banking) to a new, larger location at DR Tower, 1st Floor, 65/2/2, Box Culvert Road, Purana Paltan, Motijheel, Dhaka-1000, the bank said in a press release. The branch commenced operations on Sunday, 7 June 2026, aiming to provide enhanced and modern customer services.
The branch was inaugurated by Chairman M.A. Kashem, who said, “Providing customers with modern, secure, and efficient banking services remains our foremost priority. The relocation of the Motijheel Branch reflects our commitment to delivering an improved banking experience through advanced digital Islamic banking solutions. We are dedicated to upholding our customers’ trust and contributing to the country’s economic progress,” the press release said.
Managing Director & CEO Md Khalid Mahmood Khan attended as the special guest, alongside Additional Managing Directors Abidur Rahman Chowdhury and Md Mahbub Alam. The ceremony, presided over by Mahmudul Hasan, Head of Branch, was also attended by board members Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engr. Khandker Badrul Hassan, Md Rafiqul Islam, senior executives, businesspersons, valued customers, and local dignitaries.
The relocated branch will provide a full range of Shari’ah-compliant, technology-driven Islamic banking services, combining modern digital solutions with customer-focused service to strengthen the bank’s market presence in Motijheel.
