The Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain has arranged a special flight to bring stranded expatriates home amid the ongoing Middle East conflict.
The flight will operate through Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air, the embassy said in a statement on Sunday.
The service will first land in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, before proceeding to Dhaka.
Bangladeshis wishing to return must register by completing the designated Google form shared on the embassy’s official Facebook page.
Seat allocation will depend entirely on Gulf Air, with reservations made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each seat is priced at approximately 300 Bahraini dinars. The fare includes bus transport from Bahrain to Dammam and the cost of necessary Saudi transit permits.
According to the embassy, the flight is likely to depart on 20 March or a nearby date. Interested expatriates are requested to complete registration by 10am on 16 March.
