Sonali Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Railway to collect license fees, renewal fees, and various e-tender-related charges of the Railway Estate Department through the Sonali Payment Gateway. The signing ceremony was held on Monday at the Rail Bhaban conference room, the bank said in a press statement.
Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank PLC Md Rafiqul Islam and Joint Director General (Engineering) of Bangladesh Railway Md Abdus Salam signed and exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Railway Director General Md Afzal Hossain was present at the event. Sonali Bank General Manager Aklima Islam, Deputy General Manager Mohammad Aslam Hossain, Railway Joint Director General (Finance) Md Zakir Hussain, and other officials from both organisations were also present.
