The Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) and Chinese company Boyue Kangcheng (Beijing) Culture & Tourism Co. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday to facilitate advanced healthcare services for SCB members.
The agreement, titled “China – Bangladesh Cross-Border Healthcare Services Cooperation,” was signed during a meeting between SCB leaders and a visiting Chinese delegation at the council’s conference room on Saturday afternoon, July 18, 2026. SCB Chairman Md Rezaul Karim and Chinese delegation leader Dehui Zhang signed the document on behalf of their respective organisations.
Presiding over the meeting, the SCB Chairman stated that through this agreement, members and officials of the Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh and their immediate families will gain the opportunity to receive advanced medical treatment and special financial concessions.
The signing ceremony and exchange of views were also attended by SCB Senior Vice Chairman Syed Md. Bakhtiar, Vice Chairman Ataur Rahman Khan, and several Directors of the council, alongside other members of the Chinese delegation.
