Following the success of Borbaad, Dhallywood megastar Shakib Khan and filmmaker Mehedi Hasan Hridoy are returning with a new film, Nissho, which has already sparked considerable discussion.
Rumours suggest that dynamic actor Nasir Uddin Khan may share the screen with Shakib Khan in the upcoming action-romantic film.
However, producer Shahrin Akter Sumi said Nasir’s casting has not yet been finalised.
She explained that while the team has been considering several actors during the initial casting process, no names will be confirmed before shooting begins.
“Nothing has been confirmed yet. We consider many possibilities when thinking about the casting. The actors are selected according to the requirements of the story. We will announce the final cast when shooting begins,” she said.
Although reports initially suggested that filming would begin in November, the producer said the team is now planning to start shooting towards the end of October.
The film will reportedly feature Kolkata actress Idhika Paul opposite Shakib Khan for the third time.
The project is currently titled Nissho and is planned for release during Eid-ul-Fitr in 2027.
Shakib and Nasir previously appeared together in Prince. If Nasir joins Nissho, the popular actors will reunite on screen once again.
For now, however, Nasir’s involvement remains only a rumour, with the final casting expected to be confirmed once production begins.
