Shah Rukh Khan has retained his position as India’s most valuable celebrity brand in 2025, according to the latest Kroll India Celebrity Brand Valuation report. The Bollywood superstar tops the list with an estimated brand value of $177.9 million (approximately ₹1,694 crore), reports Indian Express.
Despite not having a film release since Dunki in December 2023, Shah Rukh continues to dominate through his extensive endorsement portfolio, ownership of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, and Red Chillies Entertainment, which backed son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
Ranveer Singh has retained the second spot with a brand value of $162.9 million (around ₹1,550 crore).
His standing received a major boost following the record-breaking global box office success of Dhurandhar, which reportedly earned more than ₹1,350 crore worldwide.
The next three positions are occupied by cricket legends Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, with estimated brand values of $158.4 million, $125.9 million and $115.3 million, respectively.
Among female actors, Alia Bhatt remains the highest-ranked, securing the sixth position overall with a brand value of $93.9 million (approximately ₹894 crore) despite having no film releases in 2025.
She is closely followed by Deepika Padukone in seventh place, with an estimated brand value of $89.2 million (around ₹847.6 crore), driven by her endorsements, business ventures and the Live Love Laugh Foundation.
Hrithik Roshan ranks eighth with a brand value of $88.9 million, while veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan comes in ninth at $80.8 million.
At 83, Bachchan continues to remain one of India’s strongest celebrity brands through his endorsement deals and his long-running stint as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor jointly occupy the tenth spot, each with an estimated brand value of $80 million.
Further down the list, Rashmika Mandanna ranks 12th with $75.2 million, followed by Salman Khan in 13th place at $73.6 million.
Rohit Sharma occupies the 14th position, while Kareena Kapoor is the highest-ranked celebrity after him at 15th with $61.8 million.
The remaining names in the top 25 include Kartik Aaryan (16th), Kiara Advani (17th), Kriti Sanon (18th), Ananya Panday (19th), Jasprit Bumrah (20th), Samantha Ruth Prabhu (21st), Tamannaah Bhatia (22nd), Janhvi Kapoor (23rd), Shraddha Kapoor (24th) and Anushka Sharma (25th).
According to the report, the combined brand value of India’s top 25 celebrities now stands at an estimated $2 billion.
Kroll stated that the rankings are based on celebrities’ endorsement portfolios and their relative social media presence.
The report also noted that digital endorsements have become increasingly significant, accounting for 60–75% of brand associations for many leading celebrities in 2025, compared with 40–60% in previous years.
