The Appellate Division will deliver its order on 3 May regarding the High Court’s bail order for former Narayanganj City Corporation mayor Salina Hayat Ivy in five separate cases.
A bench of the Appellate Division led by Senior Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam set the date on Monday.
Ivy was detained on 9 May last year from her residence in the Deobhog area of the city. She was later shown arrested in multiple cases on 18 November.
She received bail from the High Court on 26 February, but those orders were subsequently stayed by the Appellate Division.
The five cases include the murders of Abul Hossain Miji, Abdur Rahman, Md Yasin, and Parvez, all filed with Fatulla Police Station.
Another case filed with Narayanganj’s Sadar Model Police Station involves allegations of assault and obstructing government work.
