The Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh has issued an urgent alert for Bangladeshis in Saudi Arabia holding visit, Umrah, or final exit visas.
Those whose visas expired on 25 February but have not yet left the kingdom are now required to depart by 18 April, the embassy announced on its verified Facebook page on Wednesday.
The notice emphasised that any Bangladeshi overstaying beyond the 18 April deadline could face legal complications.
Nationals are advised to book flights and proceed directly to the airport on any day before 18 April to leave Saudi Arabia without fines or visa extensions.
The embassy clarified that this directive applies strictly to visa overstayers. The Saudi authorities will not grant extensions or waive penalties beyond the given period.
This temporary window provides expatriates the opportunity to leave the country safely and lawfully.
Bangladeshis are urged to comply promptly to avoid legal issues. The embassy reiterated that this alert concerns all brothers and sisters in Saudi Arabia on visit, Umrah, or final exit visas whose stay exceeded the legal period as of 25 February.
