Samsung has launched its largest television in Bangladesh, introducing a 98-inch Crystal UHD model aimed at consumers seeking a stadium-like viewing experience for the World Cup and other live sporting events.

The Crystal UHD U9000H is the first television of its size launched by Samsung in the local market, the company said in a press release.

The model features AI Football Mode, Color Booster Pro and Motion Xcelerator 144Hz to enhance colour accuracy, picture smoothness and motion clarity during fast-paced sports broadcasts. It is powered by Samsung’s NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor, which uses 4K AI upscaling to improve picture quality, contrast and sound.

The television also includes AI Sound Controller to enhance voice clarity and create a more immersive audio experience. Samsung Vision AI Companion, powered by generative artificial intelligence, enables users to interact with the television through conversational queries and receive contextual information on sports events and other content.

The World Cup offers a unique opportunity to bring fans closer to the action, Samsung Bangladesh Director and Head of Consumer Electronics Division Shahriar Bin Lutfor said. The new television is designed to make every moment of the tournament feel more immersive for viewers, he said.

The model comes with seven years of operating system upgrades and is priced at Tk459,900. It is available through Samsung’s authorised retail partners Electra International, Transcom Digital and Rangs eMart.
