Actress Samira Khan Mahi has expanded her career beyond acting, joining the business sector as a director and shareholder of an automobile company.
Mahi officially announced her new venture on social media on Monday evening (17 August).
Her entry into the business world, however, is not entirely new.
The actress has been associated with the company for nearly two years, using the time to understand its operations and gain experience in different aspects of the business.
She has now made her involvement public for the first time.
Through the new company, Mahi plans to offer customers a wide range of brand-new, reconditioned and pre-owned vehicles.
The company will import brand-new cars from China, Japan and Europe, while reconditioned vehicles will be sourced from Japan.
Mahi also plans to operate the business beyond the domestic market, with the company aiming to expand its activities internationally.
The actress said she is optimistic about the new venture and has spent considerable time observing and understanding the various aspects of the business before formally announcing her involvement.
With the new initiative, Mahi has added another professional identity to her career alongside acting.
