Salextra Limited has launched an ultra-slim feature phone that it says is the thinnest available in Bangladesh, targeting consumers looking for a compact secondary handset with modern charging features.
The company said in a statement on Sunday that the Xtra X1, launched nationwide under its Xtra brand, measures 7.3mm thick and is manufactured at Salextra’s production facility in Bangladesh. The handset is designed to fit easily into a wallet or other compact spaces, combining portability with a slim profile.
“We have always placed special emphasis on design in our Xtra phones. The X1 reflects that commitment,” said Mohammad Asif, chief business officer of Salextra. “We believe this model will set a new trend in the market while bringing back the appeal of stylish feature phones.”
The Xtra X1 features a 2.4-inch display, a 1,250mAh battery and a USB Type-C charging port, a feature that is becoming more common even in entry-level mobile devices.
The handset also includes a Magic Voice function that allows users to modify their voice during phone calls, along with a built-in torchlight for emergency use. It is available in black, grey and white.
Priced at Tk1,999, the Xtra X1 comes with a 100-day replacement warranty.
