Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) has announced the appointment of Ruhul Quddus Khan as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 1, 2025, the company said in a press statement.

A career Unilever leader, Ruhul began his journey with the company in 1996 under the Unilever Future Leaders’ Programme at the Kalurghat Factory.

Over the past 29 years, he has held various leadership roles across supply chain and research and development (R&D) in both Bangladesh and India.

Most recently, Ruhul served as Supply Chain Director and later as Head of Customer Experience and Logistics. In these roles, he played an instrumental part in transforming UBL’s supply chain, focusing on customer centricity, data analytics, process automation, and digital transformation.

Ruhul has also been a key figure in advancing Unilever’s global sustainability commitments, significantly contributing to the progress towards Net Zero in Unilever Bangladesh’s operations.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and is widely regarded as one of the most respected leaders in supply chain and operations in Bangladesh.

Unilever Head of the Pakistan, Turkey, Arabia, and Bangladesh Cluster Shazia Syed, praising Ruhul’s leadership, said, “He has a great track record in transformation and impact. His operational expertise, combined with his passion for people, makes him the ideal leader for this role.”
