Rancon Motor Bikes Ltd has entered into a partnership with MetLife Bangladesh to provide complimentary insurance coverage to eligible Suzuki motorcycle buyers.
The initiative is designed to support safer travel and promote responsible commuting for motorcycle riders across Bangladesh, reads a press release.
Under this agreement, customers purchasing new Suzuki motorcycles from authorised Rancon Motorbikes Limited dealers and flagship showroom points will receive one year of complimentary insurance coverage, effective from the date of purchase.
This policy provides coverage in the event of accidental death or permanent disability, as defined within the policy terms.
Furthermore, both new and existing Suzuki motorcycle owners have the option to enrol in a voluntary insurance plan. This plan offers additional benefits, including reimbursement for accident-related medical expenses and daily hospital cash benefits for a limited period, subject to policy conditions.
The agreement was formally signed by MetLife Bangladesh Additional Managing Director and CFO Ala Uddin and Rancon Motor Bikes Ltd Executive Director Quazi Ashiq-Ur-Rahman on behalf of their respective organisations. Senior representatives from both companies attended the signing ceremony.
According to the companies, all claims will be subject to standard assessment procedures and policy conditions. The partnership reflects a mutual commitment to enhancing customer awareness, road safety, and access to insurance solutions in Bangladesh.
