Rajshahi Warriors announced bonuses for the players, coaches and support staff after a thrilling win against Rangpur Riders. The decision came to keep the team fresh and motivated.
In a statement on Friday, the franchise said the bonus was a reward for the strong show against Rangpur. Every member of the squad will receive Tk 15,000. The management called it recognition of an outstanding performance.
Rajshahi continue to look like the most settled side in this year’s BPL. They have won three of their first four matches. That run has taken them to the top of the points table.
The latest win came in a tense match that went to a Super Over. Rajshahi and Rangpur both scored 159 runs in their 20 overs. Rajshahi lost eight wickets. Rangpur lost six.
Rangpur batted first in the Super Over. They managed only six runs. Rajshahi replied with ease and finished the chase in just three balls.
Match winner Ripon Mondol will receive Tk 100,000 as a special bonus. SM Meherob Hasan and Sahibzada Farhan will get Tk 50,000 each.
