The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted scattered rain and thunderstorms across several regions over the next 24 hours.
In its routine weather bulletin on Wednesday, the BMD said temporary gusty or squally winds may accompany the showers in parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Daytime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, while night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
On Tuesday, the highest temperature was recorded at 34.3°C in Bandarban, while the lowest was 17.2°C in Rangamati.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:06 pm today and is expected to rise at 6:11am tomorrow.
The BMD has advised residents to stay alert to sudden weather changes and take necessary precautions, particularly in areas prone to heavy rain and strong winds.
