A fire broke out on the roof of a four-storey building in Mohakhali, Dhaka. The blaze began in abandoned plastic materials stored on the rooftop.
Firefighters received news of the incident at 11:12am, shortly after the fire broke out at 11:11am.
Three units from Tejgaon Fire Station arrived at the scene by 11:28am to conduct firefighting operations.
Firefighters brought the fire under control by 11:40am, ensuring that the flames would not spread. An electrical sub-station is located on the third floor of the four-storey building.
