Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and police arrested Akash, the primary suspect in the brutal triple murder in Faridpur, following a joint operation.
Kotwali Police Station Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
According to police, Akash killed his paternal aunt and grandmother during a family discussion. When a neighbour moved forward to attempt to stop him, he was also beaten and killed. Two others were injured in the attack and were provided treatment at Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
Police said, “An investigation will be conducted, and strict action will be taken.”
