Singer and music arranger Pritom Hasan is set to perform at the upcoming ‘Monsoon Beats’ concert in Dhaka, even as he remains busy with playback singing, solo and duet tracks, and acting.
The concert will take place on 29 August at Courtside on Madani Avenue, featuring Pritom alongside popular rock-metal band Artcell.
The line-up will also include Odd Signature, Renaissance, singer Shibu and DJ Shimarai.
Organised by Envairo Events, the concert has been designed to offer music lovers a diverse line-up featuring established bands, popular singers and some of the most talked-about contemporary musicians.
Audiences aged 16 and above will be able to attend the concert with tickets available at designated prices.
The organisers are hopeful that ‘Monsoon Beats’ will meet the expectations of music lovers at a time when large-scale concerts have been relatively scarce.
Beyond his work in films, Pritom has also been drawing attention with his solo releases.
His recent song Second Nayok received a positive response from listeners.
Filmmaker Nuhash Humayun provided the creative direction for the song’s video, while Mir Rabbi and Malaika Chowdhury appeared as models in the music video directed by Manzur Anik.
Pritom has also expanded his work into acting. He received praise for his performance in Shihab Shaheen’s web film Tumi Ami Shudhu, where he starred opposite popular singer Jefar Rahman.
With music and acting keeping him busy, Pritom is now preparing to return to the stage for what promises to be another major live performance.
