Among his best-known Bengali songs is ‘Coffee Houser Sei Adda Ta Aaj Aar Nei‘, released in 1983. The nostalgic song reflects on friendship, changing lives and memories associated with Kolkata’s historic Coffee House.

His other popular Bengali recordings include ‘Sobai To Sukhi Hote Chay’, ‘Khub Jante Ichchhe Kore’, ‘Se Amar Chhoto Bon’ and ‘Ami Srishti Bhajohari Manna’.

Dey also left a lasting mark on Hindi music with songs such as ‘Puchho Na Kaise’, ‘Ae Meri Zohra Jabeen’ and ‘Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli’. His work continues to connect listeners with memories of a bygone era.
