The government primary school teacher recruitment examination will be conducted this time using software developed by Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
To this end, an initiative has been taken to provide training to district primary education officers.
Director of the Policy and Operations Branch of the Directorate of Primary and Mass Education A K M Samsul Ahsan confirmed the information to TIMES of Bangladesh on Saturday.
He said candidates would sit for a written examination using pen and paper, while the entire examination process would be managed through BUET-developed software.
The directorate has already sent letters to district primary education officers regarding the matter, he said.
According to the letter, the written examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools will be held on 2 January.
To enhance proficiency in using the software, a day-long training programme will be held from 10am on 2 December at ICT, BUET (CPA Building-6) in Palashi, Dhaka.
Officials participating in the training have been instructed to submit their names, designations, mobile numbers and official email addresses to the designated authority by 2pm on 20 December.
They have also been requested to attend the training on the specified date and time.
