Premier Bank used its Half-Yearly Business Conference 2026 on Saturday to set priorities for the second half of the year, focusing on deposit mobilisation, sustainable profitability, loan recovery and stronger branch performance.
Board Chairman Arifur Rahman called on employees to safeguard depositors’ funds, enforce zero tolerance for corruption and irregularities and strengthen the bank’s financial discipline, the lender said in a statement.
Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz outlined the bank’s business strategy, stressing deposit growth, execution of deposit campaigns, closing business gaps and improving the operational performance of branches.
Senior executives reviewed the bank’s performance in key business areas, including deposit mobilisation, loan recovery, Bangla QR and agent banking, and presented business targets and action plans for the remainder of 2026.
The conference, held under the theme “Onward & Upward,” brought together board members, senior management and branch managers. Premier Bank also recognised seven branches for outstanding business performance.
