The Premier Bank PLC officially inaugurated its relocated Baridhara Branch on Sunday, marking the occasion with an inauguration ceremony held at its new premises at Shefa Tower, Baridhara, Dhaka.
The event was graced by The Premier Bank PLC Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman, as the chief guest. Among the distinguished attendees were the Bank’s Independent Director and Premier Bank Securities Limited Chairman M Nurul Alam FCS, Independent Director and Risk Management Committee Chairman Md Sazzad Hossain, and The Premier Bank PLC Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz. Branch officials, senior executives, valued clients, and well-wishers of the Bank were also present.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman highlighted the bank’s progress, noting that The Premier Bank’s head office is now located in Shanta Pinnacle, the country’s first 40-storey building, which will take its banking services to new heights.
He explained that the relocation of the Baridhara Branch is part of an ongoing transformation under the motto “moving onwards and upwards”, aiming to provide improved services to customers. Emphasising the importance of digital banking, he added, “Through our pMoney app, expatriate Bangladeshis can send money to Bangladesh quickly and securely without the need to visit any branch.”
M Nurul Alam, FCS, expressed his optimism that the relocated Baridhara Branch would further strengthen the Bank’s ability to provide enhanced services to its customers. Md Sazzad Hossain remarked that the new branch premises would offer customers a more comfortable and efficient banking experience.
Addressing the gathering, Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz said, “The trust and long-standing relationships of our customers remain the Bank’s most valuable asset. The new location of the Baridhara Branch will enable us to further expand and enhance the quality of our services while continuing to meet the evolving needs of our customers”.
