A nine-month pregnant woman died after being struck by lightning in Rajbari.
Chairman of Khankhanapur Union Parishad AKM Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter. The incident occurred at 3:30pm on Wednesday at Sheikhpara village. The victim has been identified as Bonna, 30.
According to the family, the sky suddenly became overcast with thunderous rain. Bonna went to the courtyard of her house to move cooking firewood when she was struck by lightning and died instantly.
