BNP will distribute food and clothing to the poor and destitute at 16 locations across Dhaka on May 30, commemorating the 45th death anniversary of party founder and former President Ziaur Rahman.
BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend as chief guest, personally overseeing the distributions.
A member of the BNP media cell said the distribution will cover 15 parliamentary constituencies in Dhaka North and South, as well as the area in front of the BNP central office, totalling 16 sites.
As in previous years, the event will also include milad and doa, organised by Supreme Court lawyers, alongside the food distribution.
Local members of parliament, cabinet ministers, and senior leaders from BNP and its affiliated organisations are expected to attend each designated site.
