On the second anniversary of the July mass movement, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the “July Uprising Memorial Museum.”
The museum was established to preserve the memory of the mass movement of 5 August 2024 and the sacrifices made by students and the public against 16 years of autocracy.
Rahman inaugurated the museum at Sher‑e‑Bangla Nagar in Dhaka, accompanied by Muhammad Yunus, former chief adviser of the interim government.
Prime Minister’s Adviser Zahed Ur Rahman and others were also present.
Later, the premier toured the museum with the guests.
