Judges from the District and Sessions Judge Court and the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Pabna paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Monday evening.
The meeting took place at the Pabna Circuit House during Shahabuddin’s visit to the district. Senior District and Sessions Judge Md Akhteruzzaman led the delegation, which comprised judges from the District and Sessions Judge Court as well as other judicial officers serving in the district.
During the discussion, the judges briefed the president on the overall judicial activities in Pabna and highlighted the current challenges faced in conducting legal proceedings. The delegation sought Shahabuddin’s support in addressing these issues, and President Shahabuddin assured them of his cooperation in finding resolutions.
Shahabuddin also took the opportunity to reflect on his own professional journey, recalling memories from his long career as a lawyer and a member of the Judicial Service.
Secretaries to the President were also in attendance during the meeting.
