As part of a publicity campaign to raise awareness regarding its plans to implement BNP’s election manifesto, the party’s Noakhali unit held a press briefing in the auditorium of the district’s Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday.
Noakhali Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Mohammed Shofiqul Islam attended the event, held at noon, as the chief guest, with Noakhali District Senior Information Officer, Md Monir Hossain presiding.
During the briefing, local media personnel were informed regarding the objectives of implementing the manifesto and the related publicity activities.
The deputy commissioner highlighted various developmental activities of the government and the administrative measures taken to fulfil election pledges.
He also sought the cooperation of journalists to ensure the government’s message has widespread reach, especially at the grassroots level.
Senior officials of the district administration, along with representatives from local electronic and print media, were also present at the briefing.
