The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has introduced new regulations for sports journalists covering cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur. According to the revised rules, media personnel will no longer be able to access the stadium without a formal invitation from the BCB, the board confirmed in an official press release.

As part of ongoing security enhancement measures at the SBNCS and its surrounding areas, the BCB has issued updated entry guidelines, effective immediately. The new measures apply to all individuals entering the stadium complex, including media representatives.
