New Zealand have announced their squads for the white ball tour of Bangladesh. The team gets a boost as several fast bowlers return from injury before the series.
Matt Fisher, Will O’Rourke and Blair Tickner are back in the setup. All three missed matches during the home summer due to injuries. O’Rourke had a back problem and now returns for the ODI series. Fisher is fit again after a shin injury. Tickner has also recovered from an ankle issue. He is named in both ODI and T20 squads.
The team will miss regular white ball captain Mitchell Santner. He is busy with the Indian Premier League where he plays for Mumbai Indians. In his absence, Tom Latham will lead the side.
The tour will have three ODIs and three T20 matches. The ODI games will take place on April 17, 20 and 23. The first two matches will be in Dhaka. The third will be in Chattogram.
The T20 series will start on April 27. The first two games will be in Chattogram. The final match will be played in Dhaka on May 2.
