New Zealand have made changes to their squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, bringing in fresh faces and dealing with an injury setback.
Batter Muhammad Abbas has been added to the squad after originally being set to return home following the ODI series. At the same time, Kristian Clarke has been ruled out after suffering a hand injury during New Zealand A’s tour of Sri Lanka, which also forces him out of this series.
The ODI series between the two sides has already concluded, with Bangladesh securing a 2-1 win over New Zealand.
After completing his Pakistan Super League commitments, Ben Sears will join the team after the first T20I. Meanwhile, Blair Tickner, who was rested for the third ODI due to an ankle issue as a precaution, will continue to stay with the squad.
