Pedro Neto scored twice as Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Everton in the Premier League at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.

After a goalless first half, Neto broke the deadlock just 44 seconds into the second half before adding another goal in the 90th minute to seal all three points for Xabi Alonso’s side.

Chelsea started the match with more possession but struggled to create clear chances against Everton’s defence.

The hosts had a good chance to take the lead in the 27th minute when Jack Grealish delivered a cross for Thierno Barry. However, the striker headed straight at goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from close range.
