Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury has been re-elected as a director of Chattogram Stock Exchange (CSE).
He is also serving as Managing Director of LankaBangla Securities, the port-city bourse said in a press statement on Thursday.
The statement said one director’s post will fall vacant at the CSE annual general meeting on 11 December.
As part of the election process, Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury submitted his nomination. No other candidate submitted nomination papers by the deadline, making him elected unopposed.
The announcement was made by the CSE election committee chaired by AKM Mohsen Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury.
The other members of the committee are Md Shawkat Ali Talukder and Md Khorshed Alam Talukder.
