Bangladesh’s dominant 2–0 Test series win over Pakistan on home soil has triggered a strong shift in the latest ICC Test rankings, with multiple players climbing to career-best positions in the weekly update.

Both Mushfiqur Rahim and Taijul Islam headline the gains after standout performances in the series, while Litton Das and Nahid Rana also made notable progress in the standings.

Taijul Islam, who starred with six wickets in the second innings of the Sylhet Test and finished the series with nine wickets, moved up two places to 11th in the bowling rankings, marking a new career high.

Mushfiqur Rahim, named Player of the Series, surged 10 places in the batting rankings after his second-innings century in Sylhet. He now sits 16th, making him the highest-ranked Bangladeshi batter in the ICC Test rankings.

Litton Das, who produced a commanding 126 in the first innings followed by 69 in the second to secure Player of the Match honours, jumped 14 places to reach 24th.

There were declines for captain Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mominul Haque. Shanto slipped seven places to 30th, while Mominul dropped three spots to 38th.

In the bowling chart, Nahid Rana improved by 10 places to 54th, while all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz held firm at fourth in the all-rounders’ rankings and also rose two spots to 25th among bowlers.
