A woman and her daughter were found murdered in Ramgarh upazila of Khagrachhari on Thursday morning.
Police recovered the bodies from their home in Purbabagan Tila area under Sadar union. The victims were identified as Amena Begum and her daughter Raihana Akter, said Ramgarh police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Moin Uddin.
He said the two were hacked to death at some point on Wednesday night. Police are investigating to determine who was behind the killings.
